The McEwan Group Holiday Hours
Please see below for the holiday hours for the McEwan group restaurants and store!
North 44- will be closed from December 23rd to the 27th and will also be closed January 1st-4th
Bymark- will be closed December 22nd-26th and December 30th-January 1st.
One- will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the holidays with a turkey dinner special on the 25th!
McEwan- with be open on the 24th from 7:30am-6:00pm, closed on the 25th, open on the 26th from 7:30am-6:00pm. On New Year's Eve the store will be open from 7:30am-6:00pm and will be closed on the 1st.
Fabbrica- will be open Christmas Eve from 11:30am-4:00pm, closed on the 25th as well as the 1st of January.

On Tuesday, December 4th, 2012...Mark McEwan held a one of a kid event at North 44 to help raise money and awareness for research within the Sunnybrook Foundation. Mark had the executive chefs from each othe McEwan Group restaurants come to North 44 to develop and cook their own menu items!

Rachel A. Bies is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner and Holistic Nutritionist, a graduate of The Institute of Holistic Nutrition. She is passionate about nutrition, clean eating and getting people back into their kitchens. Her approach is to help clients eat, live and feel better one person at a time! Food doesn’t have to be intimidating, quite the opposite actually. Bliss Ball 2012
Saturday night’s Bliss Ball—held underneath an enormous white tent (dubbed the Innovation Dome, with gasp-inducing ceiling projections) at Toronto’s historic Fort York—attracted the A-list, as well as Toronto’s most generous humanitarians, to raise money for SickKids hospital. Hosted by the Dilawri family, the event raised nearly $7 million and North 44 Caters was their to feed the hungry attendees! Read on for more info!

Holiday Weekend Hours for The McEwan Group
We hope that everyone will have a safe and happy Thanksgiving weekend surrounded by those they love!
If you are going to head out for a meal or cocktail after the festivities, please note our Thanksgiving Weekend Hours!
McEwan- Will be open an hour later, until 8pm on Sunday to help you get your last minute fixings in order for the big day, but will be closed on Monday, October 8, 2012.
North 44- North 44 will be closed on both Sunday the 7th and Monday the 8th, 2012
Bymark- Bymark will also be closed on both Sunday and Monday the 8th as well.
One- Will be open normal hours on all days including Monday. Please inquire about their Thanksgiving Dinner specials!

Schedules for The McEwan Group Restaurants and Store for Labour Day 2012
McEwan Foods will be open an hour later, until 8pm on Sunday September 2nd, but will be closed on Monday, September 3rd!
Fabbrica is closed for lunch on Monday, September 3rd, but will be open for dinner at 4:30pm
One Restaurant will be open from 6:00am-2:00am on Monday, September 3rd
Bymark will be closed for the holiday Monday, with normal hours resuming on Tuesday
North 44 (The lucky ones) will be closed, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday for the long weekend with normal hours resuming on Wednesday, September 5th.

Ultimate Sandwich Smackdown McEwan vs Fidel Gastro
June 23rd is not a date you want to miss at McEwan. Chef Mark McEwan and Fidel Gastro will be having a friendly competition to see who can make the best sandwich. This ultimate smackdown will be going down outside at McEwan 11:30 am - 4:00 pm June 23rd - rain or shine! The best part is a portion of the proceeds from this event will go towards Second Harvest which is Canada's largest food rescue mission. Can't wait to see everyone there!

Our First BBQ was a Success!
Although we didn't think the weather would cooperate, our first in a series of weekend BBQs was a success! Thanks to all who came out, it was a pleasure to meet everyone.
Due to the rain expected today we will not be hosting the BBQ but keep an eye out for us on the sidewalk all summer long.

JUST IN TIME FOR THE WEEKEND - NEW ITEMS AT THE FISH COUNTER
McEwan has started to package its own line of frozen shrimp. They're a sweet tasting shrimp that's naturally farmed and packaged without preservatives and chemicals.
Executive Chef Drew Ellerby has created a salmon burger exclusively for the store! They're flavoured with ginger, fresh cilantro, green onion, dill, chives and lemon. A great item for the BBQ or broiled in the oven.
Don't forget about our usual items such as whole fish (European bass, seabream and rainbow trout), wild salmon, Halibut, Shrimp, Scallops and Cedar planked salmon with North 44 Asian rub or maple BBQ rub.

In Store Demos this weekend
We have some incredible in store demos taking place at McEwan this weekend!
Zei Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from Turkey's Ayvalik olive. It's pressed early in the harvest while still green which gives it an intense olive flavour. This superior oil comes from a singe region in Turkey which has olive trees that are e=centuries old. The Ayvalik olive is native to the coastal line and islands of the Northern Aegean Sea which provides it with its recognizable taste.
Square snacks energy bars are buit to ensure you have the right nutrients and energy for your body to get through the day. They were developped by a nutritionist and are packaged perfectly to be taken on the go. There are three different kinds: Fruit and Nut Boost, Hazelnut Cherry and Cocoa Cravings and each are meant to help get over that 3:00 pm energy slump.
